Peter Viner, president and CEO of CanWest MediaWorks, was chosen as the recipient of the Canadian Association of Broadcasters’ 2006 Gold Ribbon Award for Broadcast Excellence, which honors service to Canadian private broadcasting.
Viner is to accept the award at the CAB 2006 Convention during the Gold Ribbon Awards Gala on Nov. 7 in Vancouver.
