Voquette, BBC Partner On Web, Portable Devices

Voquette and BBC World Service have joined to provide live, streaming BBC audio content to listeners offline on portable audio devices.
BBC World Service listeners can use the free Voquette Media Manager software, a VCR-like application that can record streaming content to MP3 players, MiniDiscs, cassette recorders, CD players and laptops.
The software can be downloaded free from the Voquette Web site at www.voquette.com.
International audio news and entertainment programming of the BBC World Service also appears on the Voquette Web site.
Voquette, a San Mateo, California-based company has also partnered with Philips Electronics, Sharp Electronics, major content providers and MP3.com.
