Voyager Extends WRN Contract

Voyager Extends WRN Contract

Radio Voyager has boosted its transmission capabilities through an extension of its contract with World Radio Network.
Under the revised agreement, WRN will provide Radio Voyager with stereo transmission via its new DVB channel on the Eutelsat Hot Bird 5 satellite.
Contemporary music network Radio Voyager is currently the only commercial English-language service to broadcast 24 hours a day, seven days a week from the United States to Europe. Like WRN, it converges Internet broadcasting with traditional radio in order to achieve a global reach.
WRN carries Radio Voyager programming to London via its “Atlantic Crossing” service, a fiber-optic circuit broadcasters can access from one of several hubs in the United States.
