VuHaus Announces SXSW Lineup

Six hours of music will be on offer at Radio Day Stage in Austin

Public radio music promotional network VuHaus has announced the lineup for the SXSW Radio Day Stage at the Austin Convention Center, March 17, from 12–6 p.m. (CT). The six hours of music is open to attendees with SXSW badges.

The lineup was selected by VuHaus stations and includes: Hippo Campus (12 noon), Lizzo (1 p.m.), Chicano Batman (2 p.m.), Spoon (3 p.m.), Valerie June (4 p.m.) and Black Joe Lewis & the Honeybears (5 p.m.).

“The Radio Day Stage reflects the diversity you hear every hour on all of the VuHaus stations,” said Mark Abuzzahab, VuHaus program director. “Where else can you go from Lizzo to Spoon other than noncommercial radio?”

The music will be live streamed on various websites, including NPR Music, and also broadcast live on WFUV(FM), KXT(FM) and KUTX(FM).

The VuHaus network includes WFUV(FM) in New York City, KCRW(FM) in Los Angeles, KXT(FM) in Dallas/Ft. Worth, WXPN(FM) in Philadelphia, KEXP(FM) in Seattle, KDHX(FM) in St. Louis, opbmusic in Portland, KUTX(FM) in Austin, KTBG(FM) in Kansas City, Mountain Stage in West Virginia, WGBH(FM) in Boston, Vermont Public Radio and Houston Public Media.
