Westwood One said POP Radio will add Rite Aid drug stores to its in-store network and more advertising availability to Westwood One’s network inventory.

Rite Aid music and messages are carried by Muzak, a partner of POP Radio.

This brings the number of stores in POP Radio’s national coverage to about 10,900 stores. The deal is said by participants to be attractive to prescription advertisers who want to reach consumers at the point of purchase.
