Westwood One has revamped its organizational structure to give each “affiliate a single point of contact with a senior programming executive supported by a dedicated team.”
President of Programming Kirk Stirland described the process as streamlining.
The teams will each include a program operations manager, music/promotion director and system operator, supporting VP of Country Programming George King, VP of Contemporary Programming Cheri Marquart and VP of Gold Programming David Felker.
Dave Carey and Melody Morgan have been promoted to program operations managers and will work alongside Liz Adams in STORQ automation system support.
Also, Al Vertucci and Gerry Dixon have been named music and promotion directors for gold and contemporary formats, respectively.
Bill Thorpe was upped to system operator.
Also, Heather Martinez has been chosen as a promotion manager.
