WFUV, Botanical Garden Resolve Tower Dispute

The long-running feud between Fordham University’s WFUV and The New York Botanical Garden over placement of the station’s tower seems to be ending. Montefiore Medical Center says it has an agreement with Fordham University to allow a new antenna to be built atop an apartment building owned by Montefiore,
The agreement is the result of a search by the university and The New York Botanical Garden to identify an alternative to WFUV’s present location atop a half-built tower on the University’s Rose Hill campus.
The proposal will go through a public hearing and government review process.
