Snacks are the number one category of products purchased by avid podcast fans of all genres, according to the Nielsen Podcast Insights: Marketer’s Guide to Podcasting, a new Nielsen Audio report released this week focused on correlations between podcast listening and spending habits.
In the report’s introduction, Nielsen Audio SVP/ Sales Director Bruce Supovitz wrote that data from the report “are strong directional indicators of which brand categories do well with what genres of podcasting.”
