Stations changing hands in Atlanta, Denver, Miami and San Diego

The majority of the Lincoln Financial Media stations involved in the sale to Entercom are FMs.

Out of the total 15 facilities changing hands, three are sports-formatted AMs — WQXI in Atlanta and KEPN in Denver. One Miami outlet, WAXY is an AM/FM sports combo.

The other Atlanta station being sold is hot AC WSTR(FM.) The other Miami stations involved in the sale are AC WLYF(FM) and classic hits WMXJ(FM.)

In Denver, changing hands are: country KYGO(FM), sports KKFN(FM), rhythmic CHR KQKS(FM), oldies KRWZ(FM), and an FM translator.

Finally, in San Diego, Lincoln stations being sold are alternative KBZT(FM), country KSON(FM)/KSOQ(FM) and AC KIFM(FM).

Headquartered in Radnor, Pa., Lincoln Financial Group is the marketing name for Lincoln National Corporation and its affiliates. The company had $215 billion in assets under management as of Sept. 30.

If closed, the sale would give Entercom 15 additional stations for a total of more than 130 stations in its portfolio.
