The steering committee also voted to induct Dan Mason, longtime CBS Radio President/CEO, and the late Scott Muni, legendary air personality of WABC-AM and WNEW-FM, for their contribution to the industry.

Social media balloting was part of the process this year. (See a list of the finalists who were in the running.) The organization’s steering committee narrowed the field to 24 nominations in six categories, and four of those categories were voted on by a participant panel of 400 industry professionals.

An induction ceremony will be held Thursday, Nov. 5 at the Museum of Broadcast and Communications in Chicago.
