WideOrbit Says WO Analytics on Over 300 Stations

Business analytics solution increases market penetration

WideOrbit, a provider of broadcast and business management software, says more than 300 stations are now using its WO Analytics, its business analytics solution.

The company also previewed WO Analytics v3.1 at the 2014 NAB Show. It features several new core dashboard apps, new standard data sources and features purpose-built for station management.

“Our latest release, v3.1, provides business intelligence in a package that exceeds the needs of C-level executives, while also serving the unique needs of station managers to deliver critical information to all of the key decision makers that can effectively impact profitability — from the station level on up,” said Vijay Kumar, vice president of engineering at WideOrbit.

WO Analytics gathers and analyzes data from WideOrbit source systems and business-critical third party systems, which enables users to easily identify profit opportunities, lost revenue and operational inefficiencies to help them significantly improve their bottom line. The company says that it provides in-depth monitoring and reporting to help identify new business opportunities, improve pricing, streamline operations and increase forecasting accuracy.

WO Analytics v3.1 includes:push and pull access to all data new data sources for ad hoc data exploration; Director of Sales Dashboard; Executive Dashboard; A/R Dashboard; Political Monitor; Sales Meeting Dashboard; EUR Report; AE One-on-One; and a National Preemption Report.
