WJCL(FM) in Savannah, Ga., is using the five-band version of the Omnia One processor.
The manufacturer said Robert Combs, Southeastern U.S. regional director of engineering for Cumulus Broadcasting, upgraded the station’s Omnia One to the 5-band version via an online download.
The station airs country music. Combs told the supplier that the upgrade improves the sound of high-hats, cymbals and strings of guitars.
Users with older Omnia Ones can access a courtesy upgrade to the five-band software here.
