WYGG Fined for EAS violations

Several items out of the FCC on the penalty front:
The commission has fined the licensee of Uniondale, N.Y., station WYGG(FM) $13,000 for failure to install Emergency Alert System equipment.
The original fine was levied in December to Minority Business and Housing Development Inc. The agency said the company has not responded to the fine, so it has now reaffirmed the penalty.
