In the ad, XM and Sirius point to a national telephone survey of voters conducted by Public Opinion Strategies that found that 70% of those surveyed approved of the proposed à la carte and “Best of Both” programming options for the combined satcaster.

The survey of 800 registered voters was conducted Aug. 7–9, 2007, and has a margin of error of ±3.46% at the 95% confidence interval.
