Sound effects label Blastwave FX has a new package of sound effects, Starter FX Sound Effects.
Counting around 500 effects, “ranging from ambiences to whooshes,” they are presented as MP3s, originally recorded with 24-bit/96 kHz resolution. Other sound categories include animals, cartoon effects, office effects, transportation sounds, emergency effects, science fiction and sports.
Embedded metadata is compatible with Soundminer, NetMix, Pro Tools and other popular library search engines.
