Broadcast the Big Game With Wireworks DT12

The DT12 welded steel breakout boxes are a quarter of the size of traditional stageboxes.

(click thumbnail)Wireworks Corp. is featuring the DT12 audio cabling system, consisting of a DT12 sports broadcast breakout box, trunks and tails. It is designed for sports applications and is suitable for broadcast of indoor and outdoor sporting events.

The DT12 welded steel breakout boxes are a quarter of the size of traditional stageboxes, Wireworks says, and intended to withstand the rigors of being dragged across a stadium or field. At 3 inches square, nearly the same size as the connectors, the DT12 breakout box is compact. It also features male and female DT12 connectors with cover caps. Recessed Neutrik XLR black/gold connectors and dual-sided channel identification allow for use in various apps.

Wireworks’ DT12 trunks are manufactured with 22 AWG conductors, providing lower signal loss, especially in long run cables. Cables are engineered with cable clamp and strain relief for added durability, and are shielded to prevent electrical interference and crosstalk. DT12 fanouts are available in 4 or 8 foot lengths. XLR contacts are gold-plated to prevent oxidation in outdoor use; connector shields are metal to assure longevity.
