Davicom has released software and firmware upgrades for its MAC remote monitoring and control devices and programs.
Both are numbered version 5.40. The firmware adds USB memory device support for storing logging data. Additionally there will be USB support for up to eight serial dongles, four modems and four memory devices.
Other new features are support for external VHF/UHF serial radio links and support for RTU and TCP Modbus devices for additional I/O points. These are the beginning of a lengthy list.
The MacComm software 5.40 gets a new tool for computing input sensor linear coefficients, a live data trends graph and a user-selectable WAV for audible alarms. There are also several GUI tweaks.
