Digigram is introducing the LX-Dante sound card into its line of products. LX-Dante bridges professional audio software applications to Dante networks.
The new sound card lets users send and receive audio to and from all Dante-enabled products on their network. Using its AES67 compatibility mode, LX-Dante also allows for the exchange of audio content with AES67 capable products.
Digigram explains that LX-Dante is automatically detected and can be configured across a network as a plug-and-play device. It features two redundant Gbps primary and secondary Ethernet ports, an embedded hardware processor and, according to the company, offers low latency (150μs) across standard networks.
Supporting 128x128 redundant channels, Digigram says LX-Dante is suited for applications such as multichannel playout, multichannel recording and multi-program ad-insertion over Dante networks.
