Digigram is introducing the LX-Dante sound card into its line of products. LX-Dante bridges professional audio software applications to Dante networks.
The new sound card lets users send and receive audio to and from all Dante-enabled products on their network. Using its AES67 compatibility mode, LX-Dante also allows for the exchange of audio content with AES67 capable products.
Digigram explains that LX-Dante is automatically detected and can be configured across a network as a plug-and-play device. It features two redundant Gbps primary and secondary Ethernet ports, an embedded hardware processor and, according to the company, offers low latency (150μs) across standard networks.

Supporting 128×128 redundant channels, Digigram says LX-Dante is suited for applications such as multichannel playout, multichannel recording and multi-program ad-insertion over Dante networks.
