Elenos: Compact Transmitter, More Power

NAB Sneak Peek: Company focuses on lowering energy consumption

Elenos will show the ETG Indium FM transmitter in Las Vegas, for power levels up to 5 kW. The compact 4U-rack-sized Indium features a new layout, reduced weight and lower temperatures.

The scalable transmitter, which promises lower energy consumption, is equipped with a cloud-based remote control, which the company notes makes connecting simpler.

The Italian firm also will display the E.Box link. Connecting devices with an Ethernet or RS-485 serial port, the E.box eases communication between devices with various protocols. It also monitors parameters of the slave device and, if enabled, sends alarms (SNMP traps) toward stored destination addresses. E.Box, which will soon feature data logging and processing, stores data retrieved from the slave device and processes this information onsite.

Also on the Elenos stand will be the Indium transmitter series from 150 W to 2000 W and the ECHOS6 N+1 system control.
