Blastwave FX is releasing a package of no-charge, royalty-free sound effects.
It’s an effort to introduce users to the company’s offerings. “After years of producing sound effect libraries for companies such as Apple, Sony, Adobe, Hollywood Edge and Sound Ideas, we decided it was time to do our own thing,” says the company’s Ric Viers. “We have released the Free Download Pack as a way to introduce Blastwave FX.”
The package consists of 68 WAV file effects drawn from 40 Blastwave effects collections. Sounds from “goat bah angry” to “pixie dust flyby,” along with “robot foot steps” and the ever-popular “whip crack bullwhip.”
