Heil Sound said radio station KVEG(FM) in Las Vegas switched to its PR-40 microphones.
The manufacturer will be at NAB promoting the mic model, which incorporates a Heil DM 6 large dynamic element and has response from 28 Hz to 18 kHz. The mic provides a mid-range rise for enhanced vocal articulation.
TransAudio Group distributes Heil Sound. Based in Las Vegas, it is a U.S. importer/distributor for high-end audio products. Other lines include A-Designs, AEA, ATC, Daking, Drawmer, George Massenburg Labs, Mercury, Soundelux, SoundField and Z-Systems.
