Henry Introduces SAM

The Systems Alert Monitor is always watching

Utility box maker Henry Engineering strikes again with SAM, the Systems Alert Monitor. The company calls it an updating of the “light bulb alert box.”

SAM can monitor up to 15 status inputs from station equipment. In the case of a problem it can generate a visual, audible or email alert.

Henry Engineering adds that SAM can respond to conditions such as silence, EAS alerts, visitor at the door, high SWR and selected ringing on phone lines. The main box has GPI contact closures and input isolator circuits along with two POTS ring detectors.

USB ports provide further options for operations and uploading customized data.

Each alarm offers numerous programmability options. SAM has a GUI and can be used in studios, mechanical rooms, engineer’s office, etc. The video monitor can be set far from the SAM box.

Expected shipping is November. Price: $695.
