Those who keep an eye on global radio receiver developments have another model to consider.
Revo Technologies has rolled out its Heritage, a multi-format digital radio.
It incorporates DAB, DAB+, FM and Wi-Fi Internet radio, and offers wireless audio streaming and docking for iPod models.
It is styled as a “contemporary reinterpretation of classic European table radio designs from the ’50s and ’60s.”
“In addition to its extensive terrestrial and internet radio capabilities, Heritage will also provide access to online music service Last.fm,” the company stated. “Simply choose an artist or genre and let Last.fm build the perfect playlist from its library of 5 million tracks — unique to the user, and fresh every time.” The receiver comes with a 30-day trial of Last.fm.
It has a suggested retail price of £229.95.
