At IBC2015, WorldCast Systems will relaunch its audio processor with more features included as standard, at a new reduced price point and available for a free on-site trial.
Formerly known as the Digiplexer, the revamped HQSound processor retains its core processing engine that the firm says “offers around 20 times more processing power than most competing products.” Designed for FM and HD broadcast, the system also provides a full suite of processing tools such as an AGC, Tone FX, Stereo FX, stereo limiter and multiband processing and limiters. Furthermore, points out Worldcast, the HQSound’s final FM limiter delivers a sampling rate of 1.5Hz.
Other features of the HQSound include full RDS encoder, audio back up and the ScriptEasy suite as standard. The HQSound’s inbuilt ScriptEasy software provides users with a full remote monitoring solution enabling the unit to communicate and interact with its surrounding ecosystem in a highly advanced way.
The retail price of the HQSound processor is 30 percent less than that of its predecessor, said the firm.
