IBC Sneak Peek: Mandozzi Showcases Compact On-Air Mixer

Cimix can be fitted with a Dante module up to 64 mono equivalent channels as well as a MADI interface

Mandozzi Elettronica’s compact digital on-air mixer Cimix offers the same operational features as the larger consoles, says the firm. Featuring easy-to-use touch-screen surfaces, Cimix is suited for operators and sound technicians who need to manage several studios single-handedly. It is now possible to connect two or more Cimix mixers to create an audio network without the need of third-party gear.

The aluminum console frame features 12 or 16 motorized faders and a 12-inch multipurpose touchscreen. The central processor (with switching and DSP circuits) features redundant power supplies and allows operators to select replace parts while it is in use and is built into a fanless 19-inch frame of 1 HU (44.1 mm).

Cimix can be fitted with a Dante module up to 64 mono equivalent channels as well as a MADI interface. Additional intercom and monitoring boxes can be connected to the Cimix mixers.
