The media and entertainment industry is beginning to gear up for the 2025 IBC Show in the Netherlands.

The convention will take place Sept. 12—15 at the RAI Amsterdam. It has been held every year since 2009, with the exception of the 2020 COVID-based cancellation. Organizers said the tone of this year’s event will reflect a shifting landscape, representing broadcasters and streamers alike.

AI will naturally be a focus, as well as private 5G, immersive tech and dynamic ad insertion.

New for this year is the expansion of Hall 14, which organizers said is a response to areas of innovation. The hall includes new special features as well as the return of the accelerator zone, which offers demonstrations of new projects that IBC said offer solutions to challenges the industry faces.

Danin Cronin, ABC’s chief digital and information officer and Monica Williams, the senior VP of digital products & operations at NBCUniversal, are two of the event’s confirmed speakers. IBC also has released a list of exhibitors on the event’s show floor.

Registration for the convention is available at the 2025 IBC Show website.
