Nautel will show two new NX Series AM transmitters, the NX5 and NX10, at IBC2015. Operating at 5 and 10 kW of analog power, the company emphasizes that these two transmitters bring efficiency (86 percent AC to RF) and a suite of operational features to mid-power AM/MW operations.
As with other NX Series transmitters, the NX5 and NX10 feature AM precorrection, MDCL for up to 30 percent additional power settings; 1.8 MHz direct digital modulation and 100 percent remote Web access to the user interface.
Nautel’s Advanced User Interface is standard in the NX5 and NX10 and is locally or remotely accessible via a Web browser.
AUI’s functionality includes built-in commercial grade instrumentation, full remote access; SNMP support; an instrument-grade spectrum analyzer and network analyzer; real-time modulation error ratio measurement; monitoring and control including event logging; email and SMS notifications; backup audio via streaming and USB playout; presets and enhanced support services including Nautel Phone Home.
Analog, DRM and HD Radio models are available.
