IBC SNEEK PEEK: ENCO Debuts Second Gen WebDAD

Transforms WebDAD into HTML5-based platform to optimize remotes

ENCO says its second generation of WebDAD is a cloud-based solution that now allows broadcasters to take full, native control of a radio station from any networked location.

Part of ENCO’s enCloud family, WebDAD provides users with a virtualized platform to remotely access and control their studio-based ENCO DAD radio automation systems.

The latest WebDAD platform is built around a redesigned user interface that is optimized through an HTML5 architecture. ENCO explains that the open, flexible nature of HTML5 programming mean broadcasters are no longer limited to specific web browsers, enabling complete native-level control from any workstation or mobile device.

WebDAD introduces new operational efficiencies for full-time station personnel, and also allows part-time, contract, and remote staff to access the playout system from a laptop, tablet, smartphone or other connected device.
