V-Soft is showing Microwave Pro, a software program that allows the user to analyze interference caused and received by a proposed microwave link in the BAS band.
The program uses the FCC’s ULS database as its source for existing microwave path data. It can be used to search the ULS database, generate path profile graphs, create link budgets and compile address lists for PCN purposes.
Microwave Pro performs frequency searches to find available frequencies given path endpoints and center of radiation heights. The program reports C/I ratios calculated using a terrain-based path loss and antenna discrimination pattern data, which can be loaded from a database of common patterns.
