NAB Show Sneak Peek: Digigram Delivers the Audio

IP codecs for range of requirements

Digigram will highlight its line of IP solutions in Las Vegas at the NAB Show.

The company will show the Iqoya *SERV/LINK multi-channel IP audio codec for STLs, SSLs, Web radio delivery to CDN and audio programs delivery to DVB operators. With up to 32 stereo channels in 1 RU, the codec offers several I/O configurations — analog, AES/EBU, MADI, Livewire and Ravenna. Features include multiple streaming protocols, dual redundant streaming, VLAN tagging and QoS, SNMP control and monitoring, Fraunhofer MPEG-4 AAC and MPEG-TS/IP.

Digigram also will exhibit the Iqoya *Link and *Link/LE IP audio codecs for STL and SSL links. With 24/7 operation, the IP codecs provide dual port redundant streaming, hardware I/O bypass triggered by a power failure, SNMP control, monitoring, alarms, notable EMC resilience (10 V/m) and MPEG-TS/IP encapsulation. The units are fanless and have low power consumption.

Part of Digigram’s Mobile Solutions, the Iqoya *Call and *Call/LE AoIP codecs promise low latency and reliable IP audio contribution links. According to the company, basic IT infrastructure is adequate to set up the Iqoya *Call/LE, whereas the Iqoya *Call protects the investment of broadcast institutions with large fleets of heterogeneous equipment managed by a SIP infrastructure.

In addition, Digigram will have on hand its flagship AES67 audio-over-IP sound card, which the company says provides performance down to one sample per AES67 packet and accommodates up to 128 inputs and 128 outputs.
