PDM 2.0 Gets a Free Update

Sneak Peek: 25-Seven aids data sync on program delays

25-Seven Systems, maker of the Program Delay Manager profanity delay, has announced a software upgrade for the unit.

Version 2.0, a free upgrade, adds data synchronization features and remote control functions. With the new version, PAD data streams adjust to program dumps and are immediately synchronized to the new stream, whether it involves shortening or lengthening the data stream.

Also new is bidirectional control of the PDM via its RS-232 port, IP or an automation system.

The PDM and its PD Alert feature automatically e-mail a time-stamped audio file of the offending segment that was cut, to a designated address. The system is analog and digital and will interface with Axia Livewire.
