Inovonics Starts Shipping EAS Triple Tuner

Company is working through its backorder list

Inovonics said its 677 EAS Triple Tuner is now shipping and that the factory is working through a long list of pre-orders.

The 677 has been through beta testing with several radio engineers. Inovonics said the beta phase included real-world conditions during the nationwide EAS test in October.

“We were pleased to learn from our beta testers that the 677 performed very well during the test,” it said in an email to customers.

The 677 is an EAS monitor receiver in a half-rack package. It has three built-in receivers, each capable of AM, FM or NOAA reception. Each has a balanced monoaural XLR audio output to serve as an EAS monitor, or off-air monitor throughout the broadcast facility.

A dynamic web interface provides control and monitoring remotely via any web-enabled device. It retails for $2,300 and is sold through Inovonics dealers.
