BW Broadcast has developed an AM version of its DSPXmini FM processor.
The DSPXmini-AM offers a four-band gated AGC, four-band program-dependent limiter, high-pass filtering, low-pass filtering, high-frequency EQ, clipper, low-frequency transmitter tilt compensation and a sine/square wave tone generator. Where possible, these tools have been optimized to handle AM specifics and peculiarities, the company said.
An onboard clock allows for preset scheduling. Onboard software is flash upgradable. All is contained in a 1RU box.
