OSLO�Norway�s the Post and Telecommunications Authority (NKOM) has made plans for an auction of licenses for 37 local/regional DAB+ multiplexes around the country. The auction is scheduled for early 2016.

Each DAB + license will be awarded to a Multiplex operator, who will in turn lease the transmission capacity to interested radio stations.

According to radio.nl, the last auction occurred in 2013, and started at 1 Norwegian Krone per license. �The most expensive license sale was for the Oslo area (Akershus) and it was the only one to go for more than 15,000 euros.
