ROME�Italian public broadcaster RAI is adding new programs to its DAB+ lineup.

The easy-listening station previously known as FD4 will be renamed Radio 4 Light; the classical station FD5 will be renamed Radio 5 Classica. Both were previously only available via cable distribution, according to radio.nl.

Radio 6, which carries programs from the RAI archives, is being added to the DAB+ lineup as well.� Radio 7, which broadcasts live concerts and events, is also being added, along with Radio 8, which features opera broadcasts.

The complete DAB+ lineup will now feature 10 stations; existing programs are Radio 1, Radio 2, Radio 3, the news station GPRD, and the traffic service Isoradio.

The DAB+ network�s coverage of Italy is limited, but RAI is working on its expansion. �
