Zeno Media has launched Audioclips.ai to provide coverage of the papal transition.

It uses AI voice technology to translate official statements and broadcasts from the Vatican.

The company said the platform will provide daily audio updates on the Catholic Church’s transition. Pope Francis died on April 21 at the age of 88.

The Vatican announced that the conclave to elect the next pope will begin on May 7. As the conclave convenes, Zeno said the platform will offer four daily updates, including white smoke announcements, the selection of a papal name and the new pope’s urbi et orbi blessing.

The company said broadcasters who use its Zeno.fm platform are experimenting with the papal updates. The most requested feature from its users was the ability to schedule clips, which is available for the papal coverage.

Zeno Media provides services to audio companies including streaming, podcasting, monetization and distribution.
