SiriusXM Severs Ties With Steve Bannon

Fallout continues in the wake of “Fire and Fury” controversy

Steve Bannon has lost another gig.

SiriusXM announced President Trump’s former chief strategist will no longer host “Breitbart News Daily” on the SiriusXM Patriot satellite radio channel.

“Breitbart News has decided to end its relationship with Stephen K. Bannon, therefore he will no longer host on SiriusXM since our programming agreement is with Breitbart News,” SiriusXM said in a statement released this week.

Breitbart News and Bannon parted ways Tuesday.

The always controversial Bannon has fallen even further out of favor since Trump fired him from the role of chief strategist in August 2017. He is under scrutiny from fellow conservatives because of quotes denigrating Trump, his family and the adminstration in Michael Wolff’s recently released book “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House” (not to be confused with this other book on World War II.)
