RCS Worldwide has announced the promotion of Alissa Pollack to president of its Mediabase platform.
She succeeds Philippe Generali in the role, which was one of several that he held for the company. Generali retired from RCS as president in February.
Mediabase offers airplay charts and tracking reports for U.S. and Canadian radio markets.
RCS is a subsidiary of iHeartMedia, where Pollack will also continue her responsibilities as president of its Global Music Marketing.
The company cited her extensive background shaping the careers and data strategies of top artists, including Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran and Sabrina Carpenter.
In her new role, Pollack will lead Mediabase’s overall strategy, product innovation and commercial growth, according to a release.
Pollack said one of her first initiatives was to make Mediabase’s top 50 airplay charts publicly accessible on its website.
With Pollack’s leadership, RCS aspires for Mediabase to grow into a “global music intelligence platform serving record labels, broadcasters, artists, managers, publishers, digital streaming platforms, agencies and brands.”
Pollack holds a master’s degree in health education and counseling from New York University, as well as a bachelor’s degree in psychology.
