Nautel AUI Available via iPad

May 19, 2011 5:37 PM

Hackett’s Cove, NS – May 19, 2011 – Nautel showed operation of the company’s Advanced User Interface (AUI) on the popular iPad platform at NAB 2011. “Many customers have asked about viewing their Nautel VS, NV or NX AUI on their iPad,” said Chuck Kelly, Nautel Director of Sales, “but the inability of the iPad to run Flash applications like our AUI made that impossible. Now however, we’ve found iSwifter, an app available from the iTunes store for $2.99, and it allows viewing Flash applications on the iPad.”

The Nautel AUI is a portal to the control and instrumentation capabilities that are included in Nautel NX, NV and VS Series transmitters. It provides monitoring and control (down to the sub-module level), an industry-grade spectrum analyzer, extensive logging of events, tolerance and alarm monitoring, an HD Radio constellation view and more, with local touchscreen and remote access via the Internet.
