Passion Runs Charity Ad Scheme

Until 31 March this year, DAB broadcaster Passion for the Planet will match every advertising campaign sold with free advertising for a charity.

London-based DAB station Passion for the Planet is offering free advertising to charitable organizations.

Until 31 March this year, the station ? whose focus is on health, the environment and alternative solutions ? will match every advertising campaign sold with free advertising for a charity.

“From the very beginning, when we launched in 2002, we wanted to make giving to charity a big part of our business, and we always envisaged that it would take the form of airtime as that can be such a valuable resource for a charity and hopefully enables them to raise both cash and awareness,” said Passion for the Planet Managing Director Chantal Cooke.

The first company to participate in the scheme was Golden Embroidery. Passion for the Planet matched the Golden Embroidery campaign with advertising for bibic, the British Institute for Brain-Injured Children.

“We are thrilled to be able to donate to charity by simply doing something we would have done anyway!” said Golden Embroidery Managing Director Matthew Ukpebor.
