Amber Plan Stamp Planned

The Post Office will put out a stamp to salute the Amber Plan.
NAB said the U.S. Postal Service will issue a commemorative stamp honoring the plan, which is dedicated to the rapid recovery of abducted children.
The association said Amber Alerts have been credited in the rescue of more than 230 abducted children. The program grew out of an effort by Dallas-Ft. Worth-area broadcasters after the death of 9-year-old Amber Hagerman in 1996. President Bush signed the Amber Alert program into law in 2003.
