Russound, manufacturer of a/v products for the residential systems market, is updating its ST2 Smart Dual tuner. XM Satellite Radio is now available as an affordable option for the company’s high performance modular tuner, normally used in multi-room audio systems. When used in this application, the audio can be controlled from one button, says the company.
The Russound ST2 is still offered in its current standard configuration with two AM/FM tuner modules and lists for $699. The new version, named the ST2-XM, is supplied with one XM and one AM/FM module and retails for $999.
