Howard Lance is the new president and chief executive officer of Harris Corp. effective Feb. 1. He has also been elected to the company’s board of directors. Lance previously served as president of NCR Corp. and COO of its retail and financial group. Lance also worked as executive vice president of Emerson Electric Co.
Current chairman, president and CEO of Harris, Phillip W. Farmer, will stay on as chairman of the board and as an employee until the end of the company’s fiscal year in late June.
