Here’s your reminder that Daylight Saving Time ends for most of the United States this weekend.
The federal legislation that would make it permanent has not passed Congress, and for all we know it may never do so. In any event remember to turn your clocks back an hour early Sunday morning.

Veteran engineer Larry Wilkins of the Alabama Broadcasters Association reminds us: “If you have an AM facility that is either a daytime-only station or have power/mode changes for nighttime operation, make sure to verify that the manual or automatic switching completed at the correct time.
“Program and traffic directors should ensure that logs are adjusted for the extra hour on Sunday morning. Engineers should also verify that tower light operation and monitoring is correct as well.”
