Hessian Radio has made some moves recently that are strengthening its DAB+ network, including the addition of a new transmitter site.
On June 27, all six of Hessian Radio’s radio programs started to broadcast from the Biedenkopf broadcasting station.
The new source of digital reception is courtesy of a new antenna in the Marburg/Biedenkopf region.
Earlier in June, HR increased the transmission power at its Rimberg site to 10 kW, twice its previous output.
Additional radio stations in Kreuzberg/Rhön are also expected to begin broadcasting in DAB+ in August, with more radio stations to be added throughout the year.
