Radio.Cloud is highlighting new features in Assistant AI, which it describes as a hybrid research and content creation tool.
We reported on its introduction last year, and the company has now added features.

“Assistant AI is a playlist-specific research tool, creating custom content specific to your brands,” Radio.Cloud says.
It is integrated into Radio.Cloud’s Smart Playlist. Assistant AI allows hosts to choose the talk break slot, the content to prep for and how much content to provide.
Examples include local news, weather, station promos, and relevant information about the next artist and song. Hosts can use an interactive chat feature to shape the output, choosing to use content for voice tracks, live talk breaks or social media and blog posts. The company says the tool allows stations to “split the difference between a traditional prep service and a fully AI voice tracked station.”
Now newly added is a smart voice tracking recorder, allowing users to record content directly into Radio.Cloud via Assistant AI.
Also new are content modules that give the tool a more “all-in-one” feel, including News, Trends and Hot Tracks. “We can set the location for each station so these are customized user by user,” Radio.Cloud says.
And users can chat back and forth with Assistant AI; hosts can create custom breaks rather than receiving a singular output. “For example,” said the company’s Andrew Scaglione, “if Assistant AI gives me information about the next artist — let’s say Sabrina Carpenter — I can respond and say ‘Does Sabrina have new music out or coming out?’ or ‘Turn that frontsell into a 200-word blog post for my website.’”
