Brentlinger to Head New Orban Legacy Service Center

This change comes 10 months after DaySequerra acquired Orban from parent company Circuit Research Labs Inc.

PENNSAUKEN, N.J. Orban Labs has created a new service center to provide maintenance and repairs to older Orban products.

Jay Brentlinger, who currently serves as vice president of Orban Labs, will add president of Orban Legacy Service to his rsum with the establishment of this subsidiary, according to the announcement.

The center will be based in Chandler, Ariz., and will handle legacy Orban products from the Optimod 8500 and earlier. In addition to providing parts and service, the service center will offer trade-in programs for older models that have reached end-of-life, according to Brentlinger.

Our goal in forming this new division is to ensure that our loyal customers will continue to have the same quality of factory parts and service that they have come to expect over the years, Brentlinger said, noting that some products from the 1970s are still in service 42 years later.

Orban applications include audio processing, loudness measurement and control, multichannel surround audio and digital audio processing and monitoring.
