Broadcasters Need to Carpool With Cars in Radio Show Panel

“The Digital Dash — Improving the Consumer Experience” set for Sept. 22

WASHINGTON�The radio and the automobile have been a strong team for quite some time now, but to ensure that continues both need to be aware of what the future holds. That will be the focus of the Radio Show panel �The Digital Dash � Improving the Consumer Experience.�

�Radio broadcasters need to know what automakers are planning for the future of the center console,� Radio Show describes about the panel on its website. �With all the media options available for drivers and passengers, broadcasters need to make sure that listeners can find their favorite stations on the radio. This panel will discuss why broadcasters need to keep lines of communications open with �Detroit.��

The panel will be moderated by Sam Matheny, EVP and chief technology officer at the NAB. Panelists will include Scott Burnell, global lead, business development and partner management for Ford Motor Company; Fred Jacobs, president of Jacobs Media; and Steve Newberry, president and CEO of Commonwealth Broadcasting Cooperation.
