GREENCASTLE, Ind.��The Electronics Technician Association is offering a certification exam for reliable fiber to the antenna deployment.
The certification is geared towards students or professionals involved in the installation, maintenance, repair and testing of fiber optic cables on towers, rooftop antennas and wireless or cellular facilities.
ETA�s Fiber-To-The-Antenna certification exam follows industry best practices and standards on how to install pre-terminated fiber cable assemblies and how to test them after installation as well as how to recognize problems during and after the installation. Safety, general core concepts regarding fiber optic cables and optical transmission theory are also covered. The certification is also accredited by the International Certification Accreditation Council.
