Insignia Narrator HD Radio wins 2012 FCC Chairman’s Award

Washington -Dec 5, 2012 – The FCC has announced that the Best BuyInsignia-Narrator HD Radio receiver has won The Chairman’s 2012 Award for Advancement in Accessibility.

The awards, now in their second year, were created to encourage technological innovation in communication-related areas and to recognize engineers, researchers and other technologists who help the disabled obtain jobs and succeed in their communities.

A ceremony commemorating the awards will be held Dec. 19, 2012, at the FCC headquarters. The Chairman’s Award will be presented by FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski.
